14th April 2008: Radio Traffic expert Will Jackson joins GTN UK

Global Traffic Network UK (GTN) has made another major appointment by bringing Will Jackson into its management team as Contract Manager for the company’s forthcoming Traffic Radio service for the Highways Agency.

He joins from his regulatory role at Ofcom having previously worked at BBC and commercial radio stations, and managed travel news services including Metro Networks and digital station Travel Now. At GTN, he will manage all aspects of delivering services on Traffic Radio.

Will brings vast experience of radio travel news and a wide range of industry contacts. He says: “People who know me know I love radio – and I am delighted to deliver a service as exciting as Traffic Radio. With Global Traffic Network I’m joining a company which has radio as its number one priority and management who are all radio people, which offers the best traffic and travel service for all sectors of radio.”

Will joins Global Traffic Network on 6th May. GTN takes over the Traffic Radio service from 1st July.
