Following the signature of a three year contract to supply traffic and travel reports to the UKRD Group, Global Traffic Network has hired two highly experienced traffic experts.
Matt Jones joins as Senior Developer. Matt has a distinguished decade-long career in traffic reporting and technology, working for the BBC Travel Unit and for Serco at the National Traffic Control Centre. He will work alongside new colleagues in Australia on enhancing Global Traffic Network’s incident capture system, but will also appear on air on occasions.

Stuart Barton is joining as a reporter at the company’s Oxfordshire base. Stuart is one of the most experienced traffic reporters in the business, having worked at AA Roadwatch for 17 years. Stuart will present reports on UKRD stations and Jack FM, and help manage Global Traffic Network’s airborne reporting operation.
UK Managing Director Paul Hutton says “We at Global Traffic Network are committed to using only the finest traffic and travel news talent. In Matt and Stuart we have two more people who know every aspect of the business who will help ensure we give our affiliates the first class service they deserve. I am delighted to bring them into the team.”
